The Night grows stronger as Milada waxes to fullness, Arnice asks Simon to reveal the location of the Blue Altar so that Arnice and Lilysse may go there and end the Nightlord's scheme. However, Simon delivers another message from the Curia, directing Arnice to go and meet with a former member of the Curia. This former agent is a descendant of the first Holy Knight that battled against the Nightlord, so this agent is believed to be the best source of information for Arnice to habor. Arnice heads out.

Arnice arrives at the Shrine of Sorrows, and follows our friendly black cat to a secret room similar to the room at the Church of the Defiant God. And to Arnice's surprise, the Pureblood Demon Christophorus is already on the scene doing her own investigation. And as always, she gives Arnice another warning before departing.
Arnice arrives to the Shrine, and from the ground emerges a huge mass of stone and scale. Arnice must defend herself against and defeat the Blueblood Dragon Mavelus! Who is no joke!
Lilysse has some free time to kill, and of course she wants it with Lady Arnice. However, Lady Arnice needs clear the area out first, defeating any and all fiends that inhabit the area. Arnice calls for Lilysse when the ruins are done being purified, and the two girls have a much needed discussion.
Back at the Hotel, Simon tells Arnice that a descendant of the first Holy Knight would like to meet w/ Arnice. And Simon gives Arnice a rare and dangerous item to deliver to this contact.
Arnice arrives at the Church of the Defiant God where Simon believes the Blue Altar that Lilysse can use to connect to the ruler of the Night is. Upon arriving Arnice is met by a beautiful yet deadly enemy, the Blueblood Maiden Milaya! Arnice uses her Phantom Demon Form to aid her Servans in their assault on the Maiden, ending the battle rather quickly. Lilysse arrives to the Altar after the fiend slaying has concluded, and they are met by none other than the Pureblood Demon Christophorus, who has some words for our Holy Knight and Saint duo.
Simon gives Arnice another strange quest, he wants her to investigate a case involving a missing Woman known as Lady L. Upon going into detail concerning the case, a strange piece of evidence was found planted into the case file, a mask. Arnice believes the mask resembles the one Christophorus wears, and she heads to the Opera House to find and question her.
When Arnice locates Christophorus, she leaps into action to save Christophorus from a losing battle. Once again Christophorus aids Arnice's journey by revealing some key information that helps Arnice solve her case. Christophorus leaves Arnice with a demanding piece of advice: "Respect other peoples wishes." & "I'm after the same thing as you, I will be in contact."
Arnice follows a lead from Simon about a Demon who has information on how to defeat the Nightlord, which brings Arnice to an Opera House where she meets a familiar face. The Pureblood Demon Christophorus, who summons the Blueblood Court Rosier to battle with Arnice.
Afterwards, Christophorus explains to Arnice that things aren't as she had originally imagined. Sealing the Nightlord is impossible, in order to stop the NIghtlord, one must defeat the Nightlord.
Professor Alucard informs Arnice on how she can restore the black book to it's originally state and sends her out to find some rare items necessary for the book's revival. After successfully locating all of the items, Professor Alucard conducts his revival process. During the last stage of the treatment, the book disappears..
Arnice must now come to terms with the fact the Lilysse will have to sacrifice herself to stop the Nightlord from plunging the world in eternal darkness.
Arnice Lionheart heads to the Amusement Park to seek out the two missing Hotel guest. At the entrance to the park, Arnice meets a Pureblood Demon by the name of Christophorus who has a warning for Lady Arnice. "You had best decide if you are human or demon before Milada waxes to fullness. Otherwise, you will join the world in extinction."
At the main square of the Amusement Park, an overwhelming swarm of black butterflies ensures us that Lady Arnice is about to face another being of the Night. This time, Lady Arnice is up against the Blueblood Cavalry Carousel!
Afterwards, Lady Arnice meets up with the two missing guests, and well.. They are a bit.. Strange.
Lilysse reports that her recent lose of balance is due to her losing something precious to her, a ring. She says the ring has been missing since she was kidnapped and taken to the garden by the creature of the Night. Arnice recalls a little kitty cat who might know just where this ring can be located.
Lady Arnice gets further familiar with the functions of the Hotel where she is boarding where her lovely priest friend and partner Lilysse. After some horsing around with Simon, Arnice visits the Shrine of Jorth, to converse with the Maiden of Jorth, and level up. Arnice rejoices after receiving her new powers, although.. There is a question she would like to ask the Maiden of Jorth.
